Bud LaRosa GSCF June 22-23rd 2024 in his first con appearance in over 20 years!!
Born in Brooklyn N.Y. and selling his First piece of artwork at age 11. A comic book mural for a comic store wall. Bud has not stopped producing artwork since, that was forty years ago.
Bud trained formally at the illustrious Art Students League of New York and In 1985 he began a full time career as a freelance artist for Marvel Comics, DC Comics and Neal Adams Continuity Studios under Neal Adams.
Marat Mychaels, the man behind the Pooh, comes to GSCF June 22-23rd 2024!
MARAT has had a long and successful career in the comic book industry. He started out as Image Comics first rookie working on the highly successful Extreme Studios Brigade series. Marat has worked for most major publishers including Marvel Comics on titles such as Deadpool Corps an X-Force: Shatterstar and has been the artist for a number of DC Comics including Hawk and Dove and Grifter.
Sean Forney is coming to GSCF June 22-23rd!
Sean is an illustrator with over 23 years of experience, currently working on covers and art for Coffin Comics, Dynamite, Counterpoint, Image, Silent Mayhem, Aspen, Ethereal, Absolute, & Totally Rad, along with his own series Scarlet Huntress. Published cover titles: Thundercats (Dynamite), Lady Death (Coffin), Vanish (Image), Vampirella/Red Sonja (Dynamite), and many more
Russ Casseday is coming to GSCF June 22-23rd 2024!
Russ is an IT Specialist by day, father of 3, and indie comic specialist at night. Russ started coloring indie comics about 5 years ago. He has contributed to over 100 indie comics in one way or another, but mostly by coloring over 500 sequential pages and 100 indie covers. Over the last 3 years, Russ has collaborated on 110+ successful crowdfunding campaigns for indie comics, raising $2+ million in funding.
Terry Sala is coming to Garden State Comic Fest June 22-23rd 2024!
Terry got his start in the comics business in 2013 when he was asked by his good friend Marat Mychaels to do some writing work for his company, Counterpoint Comics. He was asked to write a parody one-shot: Do You Pooh, which turned out to be a huge cult hit, and is still going to print to this day.
Sajad Shah is coming to GSCF Morristown 24’ June 22-23rd!
Born and raised in South Florida, Sajad is a self taught artist who found his love of art at an early age. His love of comics comes from watching Saturday morning cartoons and doodling during class. Sajad is currently working on his creator owned Title called SLOW RUSH expected to be released later this year.
Jason Baroody is coming to GSCF June 22-23rd 2024!
Jason is a Comic Artist for Image and Banana Tail press. He was A founding member of TEN TON STUDIOS and has been the Artist on several published comic books throughout the years.
Jason is also a fan favorite for show commissions.
Gus Mauk is coming to GSCF June 22-23rd!!
Gus started out as a portrait and charcoal artist and moved into comics as a cover artist. Currently working on covers for Image, IDW, and Blackbox Comics, such as Sweet Paprika, Department of Truth, GI Joe, and Nightmare Blog. Gus is also the Artist/ co-creator of Blackbox Comics' top selling title: Shi no Kage.
Bob Almond is coming to GSCF: Morristown
Bob broke in at Marvel Comics in 1992 as a professional inker on Warlock & the Infinity Watch series which led to numerous projects at Marvel for the next decade straight like Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Trek: DS9 and later Annihilation: Conquest-Quasar and Heroes for Hire. Most significant was his 3 years of work as inker/storyteller with Priest and Sal Velluto on Marvel's Black Panther from 1999-2002.

n a 30-plus year career, Jim has worked on Peter David's AQUAMAN, Judd Winnick's EXILES, GOTHAM UNDERGROUND with Frank Tieri, RED LANTERNS with Charles Soule, various BATMAN books, DEADPOOL, and BLACK PANTHER.
Legendary colorist Bob Sharen at GSCF: Morristown 24’
Bob started as a colorist for Marvel in 1978. He’s had long runs on the Spider-man books, Captain America, GI Joe, Master of Kung Fu, Alien Legion, Iron Man, West Coast Avengers, and at one time or another worked on just about every Marvel title.
Michael Dooney is coming to GSCF: Morristown 24’
Michael is a comic book and cover artist and toy designer. Having worked extensively on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics, games and toys he currently splits his time between various comic and cover projects as well as concept art for the toy and entertainment industry.
Jan Duursema is coming to GSCF: Morristown 24’
Jan is most well known for her work on the Star Wars comics franchise and, believe us, that only touches the surface of her extraordinary career to date. She is the creator of the Twi'lek Jedi Aayla Secura and her Kiffar Jedi master Quinlan Vos as well as Denin and Vila from Naldar.
Tom Raney is coming to GSCF
Tom has drawn a lot of comics, mostly for Marvel and DC. From X-Men to Batman, Stormwatch to Thor, and lots more in and around those. Recently he’s drawing the Green Lantern, for DC!
Tom Mandrake is coming to GSCF: Morristown 2024!
Tom has been illustrating comic books for over 35 years. His credits include The Spectre, The Martian Manhunter, Batman, Swamp Thing, To Hell You Ride, Weapon X, The New Mutants, The Hulk!, The Punisher, GrimJack, Sidekick, The X-Files to name a few.
Kevin Altieri is coming to GSCF: Morristown 24’
Kevin is a television director of animated cartoons. Altieri's directorial works include episodes of C.O.P.S., Batman: The Animated Series, GI Joe Renegades, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Transformers: Rescue Bots, Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters, and Stripperella.
He also was the Storyboard design, sequence director of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
