

Don McGregor is coming to GSCF: Summer 25
McGregor began his comic writing career in 1969, creating his own series DETECTIVES INC. as a fanzine that he took to the annual New York Comic Convention. It was after meeting publisher Jim Warren in hot debate at that convention that his comic writing career began, writing horror stories for Warren's illustrated horror line of CREEPY, EERIE and VAMPIRELLA.
After working as a proofreader, and eventually editor on several of MARVEL COMICS B&W line of comic/magazines, he was assigned to write the BLACK PANTHER in Marvel's JUNGLE ACTION comics. The "Panther's Rage" series was the first mainstream comic to have an essentially all-black cast of comics, in 1973. Before that, the few comics that did have black leads were normally surrounded by a white supporting cast.

Jamie Jameson is coming to GSCF Summer 25
Jamie Jameson has worked on the comic of American Gods (Dark Horse Comics) – photography, layouts, and has portrayed many of the female characters, including Laura Moon and Zorya P.

Jeff Balke is coming to GSCF Summer 2025
Jeff Balke is an entrepreneur, writer, voice actor and upcoming producer/director of his own animations. He founded his own animation studio, Jeff Balke Studios, which focuses on 2D Animation (using what he calls, Digital Cel Animation). He’s created a number of characters, but is best known for Stanley and Friends (Stanley Squirrel, Natasha Squirrel, Chester, Baby Fang, Billy Billington and Bandit).

Michelle Santiago is coming to Garden State Comic Fest 2025
Michelle is an award-winning actor and producer who is best known for the horror films Stream and Terrifier 2. She can be seen in a few episodes of Servant and Fallout. She appears in the films: Clerks 3, 4:30 Movie, Call Her King, and The Events Surrounding a Peeping Tom, just to name a few.

Christopher Uminga is coming toGarden State Comic Fest 2025
Chris is an artist who has spent his career developing a unique style that blends together creepy and cute. He has worked on several projects for DC Comics/Warner Bros, Lucasfilm, Footlocker and many others.

Louise Simonson is coming to Garden State Comic Fest 2025
Louise is a writer and editor best known for her work on comic book titles such as Power Pack, X-Factor, New Mutants, World of Warcraft, Superman: The Man of Steel, and Steel. In recognition of her contributions to comics, Comics Alliance listed Simonson as one of twelve women cartoonists deserving of lifetime achievement recognition.

Walter Simonson are coming to Garden State Comic Fest 2025
Walter is most known for his work on Thor, which he wrote and illustrated from 1983-1987, during which he created the character Beta Ray Bill and Malekith the Accursed Among others. He has also worked on other Marvel titles such as X-Factor and Fantastic Four, and on DC books

The Art of Greg Hildebrandt is coming Garden State Comic Fest 2025
Greg and his twin brother, Tim, were born in Detroit, Michigan in 1939, Both boys were avid artists and creative thinkers from a young age, and carried their artistic passion with them throughout their childhoods. For years Greg and Tim worked together and apart, receiving international recognition and numerous awards and honors.

Alexandra Bowman is coming to GSCF Summer 2025
Alexandra Bowman is an award-winning cosplayer, illustrator, and political cartoonist newly located in NYC. Her work centers around Cats the Musical-inspired designs, particularly crossovers. She has created Jellicle versions of Puss in Boots, the Cheshire Cat, Garfield, Anna of Cleves from Six the Musical, and others. She was the 1st place winner of the BroadwayCon 2025 Cosplay Contest and trophied at BroadwayCon in both 2024 and 2023.

Jonathan Lipnicki is coming to GSCF Summer 25
Jonathan is both an amazing voice and onscreen actor. Through the years he has appeared in films such as Jerry Maguire, Stuart Little, and Stuart Little 2, The Little Vampire, and Like Mike. More recently in 2024, Lipnicki starred in the horror film Camp Pleasant Lake as the character Jasper Meadows.

Charles Paul Wilson III will be at GSCF Summer 25
Charles Paul Wilson III is the illustrator and co-creator of The New York Times Best-Selling Graphic Novel The Stuff of Legend and illustrator for WRAITH (with Joe Hill, IDW Publishing). His artwork has appeared in the pages and on the covers of numerous titles, including Tales from the Darkside, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Star Wars.

Chrissie Zullo Uminga is coming to GSCF Summer 25
Chrissie Zullo Uminga is a Connecticut-based illustrator, and a full-time drawing machine. She has worked for Marvel, DC, and Lucasfilm to name a few, working primarily in comic book illustration, as well as product and statue design. She lives with her husband and their three dogs Sandwich, Wolfie, and Ketchup.

Jo Armeniox is coming to Garden State Comic Fest 2025
Jo has been acting since 2006. In her career she has played Cora Pastor in Boardwalk Empire and has also appeared in the series Blue Bloods, Body of Proof and Unforgettable to name just a few. She also played Una in Blackbird on Broadway.

Tana Ford is coming to GSCF: Summer 25’
Tana Ford is a Hugo and Eisner Award winning artist whose work has appeared in Marvel, Dark Horse, Vertigo, iDW and other publications. She began her career by self-publishing queer comics, first winning a Queer Press Grant then going on to become a Lambda Literary Award finalist.

Scott Hanna is back for GSCF: Summer Fest 25’
Scott Hanna is a comic artist with over 30 years of experience, known for his adaptable inking style and over 21,000 inked comic pages across 100+ graphic novels. Starting as a penciller/inker for Eternity Comics, his first published work was DeathHunt #1.

Mark Bagley is coming to Garden State Comic Fest 2025
Throughout his career Mark has worked for Marvel Comics on such titles as The Amazing Spider-Man, Thunderbolts, New Warriors, Venom and Ultimate Spider-Man and for DC Comics on Justice League of America, Batman, and Trinity. He got into comics by winning the contest in the Marvel Try-Out Book and in 1991 Mark was assigned to work on Amazing Spider-Man.

Mark Morales is coming to Garden State Comic Fest 2025
A longtime comics pro, Mark has worked for many companies including Image, Dark Horse, Chaos, DC Comics and Marvel Comics, mostly as an inker. Past projects from Mark include Thor, Daredevil, Batman, X-men, Justice League, Avengers vs X-men, Spider-man/Deadpool, Invincible and Astonishing X-men and The High Republic

Chris Batista is coming to Garden State Comic Fest 2025
Chris was born and raised in New York City. Growing up It was hard to find him without a pencil in his hand. All he drew was superheroes and devoured comic books. This eventually led to his attendance at Laguardia HS, were he studied the arts for 4 years instead of getting better at math and science. He then attended the School of Visual Arts were he studied illustration and animation.

Sgt. Slaughter is coming to Garden State Comic Fest 2025
Sarge is a WWE Hall of Famer and was both the WWF's and AWA's Champion and in 1985 joined G.I. Joe to battle Cobra Commander and his evil forces as an action figure, a comic book hero and even on the G.I. Joe animated series.
