Gus Mauk is coming to GSCF June 24-25th!
Gus started out as a portrait and charcoal artist and moved into comics as a cover artist. Currently working on covers for Image, IDW, and Blackbox Comics, such as Sweet Paprika, Department of Truth, GI Joe, and Nightmare Blog. Gus is also the Artist/ co-creator of Blackbox Comics' top selling title: Shi no Kage.

Bob Almond is coming to GSCF June 24-25th!
Bob broke in at Marvel Comics in 1992 as a professional inker on Warlock & the Infinity Watch series which led to numerous projects at Marvel for the next decade straight like Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Trek: DS9 and later Annihilation: Conquest-Quasar and Heroes for Hire. Most significant was his 3 years of work as inker/storyteller with Priest and Sal Velluto on Marvel's Black Panther from 1999-2002.
Rudy Nebres is coming to GSCF Saturday Only June 24th!
Rudy is a comic artist who has worked mostly as an inker in the American comic book industry. Known for his lush, detailed inklines, Nebres' most prolific period was in the late 1970s and the 1980s. Before coming to the United States, Nebres studied fine arts in the Philippines and worked in the Filipino comics industry for such publishers as Bulaklak Publishing, ACE Publications, and Graphic Arts Service.

Chris Batista is coming to GSCFt June 24-25th!
Chris was born and raised in New York City. Growing up It was hard to find him without a pencil in his hand. All he drew was superheroes and devoured comic books. This eventually led to his attendance at Laguardia HS, were he studied the arts for 4 years instead of getting better at math and science. He then attended the School of Visual Arts were he studied illustration and animation. It was there that he studied under the LEGENDARY Klaus Janson, which quickly lead to a job with Marvel Comics and later DC Comics. The majority of his work is from DC, were he worked on titles such as Booster Gold, JLA, Legion of Superheroes, Hawkman, Aquaman and 52.

Their diverse membership base comes together to celebrate Star Wars through the creation of screen accurate costumes found throughout the films, books, television shows, and so much more. We then use these costumes to support our local communities in a large variety of ways.

Bob Budiansky is coming to GSCF June 24-25th!!
Bob is a comic book writer, artist and editor who worked at Marvel Comics for almost 20 years. He's best known for his work on Transformers. After editing Marvel's 4-issue 1984 Transformers mini-series, Bob wrote most of the next 50 issues of the comic. He also named approximately 250 of the original G1 Transformers, including Megatron, Bumblebee, and others.

Khoi is an artist and mentor. His artworks include DC’s Teen Titans, Marvel’s Mighty Avengers, X-Men Legacy, Scarlet Spider, Spider-Man, Daredevil, Chaos War, Incredible Hercules, Gambit, Mighty Thor, X-Factor, and Topcow’s Cyberforce to name just a few. He has done numerous cover illustrations for various publications.

Bob started as a colorist for Marvel in 1978. He’s had long runs on the Spider-man books, Captain America, GI Joe, Master of Kung Fu, Alien Legion, Iron Man, West Coast Avengers, and at one time or another worked on just about every Marvel title. Since leaving Marvel he is mostly doing hand coloring on fan commissioned one-of-a-kind recreations, and is available for digital coloring.
Rick Leonardi is coming to Garden State Comic fest June 24-25th!
Rick is credited, along with fellow illustrator Mike Zeck, of designing the black-and-white costume to which Spider-Man switched during the 1984 Secret Wars miniseries, and later wore for a time. According to writer Peter David, the costume began as a design by Zeck that Leonardi embellished.The plot that developed as a result of Spider-Man's acquisition of the costume led to the creation of the Spider-Man villain known as Venom. He and writer Tom DeFalco created the Rose in The Amazing Spider-Man #253.

After graduating from The Kubert School in 1983, Darren worked for Pacific Comics and DC Comics. He also worked for Marvel Comics for ten years as a Bullpenner, Freelance Writer/Artist and Art Director.

Charles is the illustrator and co-creator of The New York Times Best-Selling Graphic Novel The Stuff of Legend (published by Th3rd World Studios), and illustrator for WRAITH (with Joe Hill, IDW Publishing). His drawings can also be found in the pages and on the covers for X-Files, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tales from the Darkside, Goosebumps, Superman, Captain America, The Shadow, and others.
