Fernando Ruiz is coming to Garden State Comic Fest Summer Edition!
A graduate of the prestigious Kubert School, Fernando Ruiz has been writing and drawing comics professionally for over twenty years. Much of his work has appeared in the various comic books published by Archie Comics. Fernando has drawn Archie, Archie & Friends, Sabrina The Teen Age Witch, Betty & Veronica Spectacular and many others. He has been the regular penciller on Archie's Weird Mysteries and the Eisner-nominated magazine, Life With Archie. In addition to his comic book work, Fernando has worked extensively as a commercial artist. He has illustrated various storyboards, books, and toy designs. In 2014, he illustrated the book Rabbids: Laugh Your Rabbids Off for Simon & Shuster. Most recently, he has illustrated the highly-publicized and much anticipated crossover series, Archie Vs Predator for Archie Comics and Dark Horse Comics. Fernando has returned to the Kubert School as an instructor. He has taught art for the past twenty years
