GSCF Morristown 2023 Cosplay Contest
ATTENTION COSPLAYERS: Here at Garden State Comic Fest we are always trying to evolve and test new things. This year for our cosplay contest, we are throwing out the book, so to speak, and trying something completely new. Instead of the traditional contest, at a certain time in a certain area on a certain date, we are transforming all of GSCF into the proverbial stage. How it will work:
We will be selecting 5 secret judges.
These 5 judges will be on the lookout for awesome cosplays all weekend.
When a judge sees a cosplay they love, they will walk up and ask for your info and permission to take a photo to enter you into the GSCF 2023 cosplay contest. If you are chosen yet do not want to compete, that is okay too!
Once the weekend is over we will compile all the participants and the judges will choose the top 5 to be featured on our social media pages. Then the fans get to vote for the cosplay they think is “Best in Show”.
Every finalist chosen will receive one free 2day pass to next year's GSCF Morristown. The “Best in Show” winner will receive 2 VIP Tickets and a $300 dollar shopping spree voucher at next year's event for a grand prize total worth $500! We hope this will be an inclusive and convenient way for anyone who plans on cosplaying at GSCF to show off and potentially win some cool prizes. Having the contest run the entire weekend makes it more accessible to anyone who may not have been able to attend both days (Or, would like to enter more then one costume!)It also gives our judges a chance to see your costumes up close, and gives the fans an opportunity to have a voice in their favorite cosplay.
