Scott Hanna is coming to GSCF: Summer Edition!
An Eisner Award winning artist in the graphic novel industry, Scott has been drawing and inking comic books for over 30 years. His work has been published in well over 1000 comics and graphic novels, and he’s inked more than 20,000 pages of comic art.
A founder of the Arts and Fashion Institute in PA with his wife Pamela Ptak, Scott teaches classes in Sequential art, anatomy, drawing and cartooning.
At DC Comics he worked on most of their major titles, most notably a five year run on Detective Comics starring Batman, Green Lantern Corps, and working with David Finch on Wonder Woman.
At Marvel Comics, Scott’s worked on all the top characters at the company, including the Avengers, Spider-Man, Ironman, the X-Men, and the Hulk. He’s drawn Spider-Man for 15 years, working on almost every title starring the wall-crawler.
Over the past year Scott has worked on Wonder Woman, Superman; Lois and Clark, and Action Comics for DC Comics, and Avengers, Nova, and Uncanny Avengers for Marvel.
Scott has received a total of 9 Inkwell Awards for “Favorite Inker”, “Most Adaptable Inker”, and “Props Award” from 2010-2012, the 2005 Wizard Fan Award for “Best Inker” and the 2002 Eisner award for “Best Serialized Story” - Amazing Spider-Man #30-35: “Coming Home”. His work appeared in the Smithsonian's 9/11 anniversary exhibit with artwork from the book Heroes.
Recently Scott has been working on WereWolf By Night, Avengers and Amazing Spider-Man.LR at Marvel. Batgirl, Flashpoint, and Generations Shattered #1 at DC
